MK Standard Tesselation Shader

Overview

The standard shader is great, but it would be even better with tesselation!. Here it is. The MK Standard Tesselation Shader is a modified Standard shader to support tesselation and is seamlessly integrated into the workflow.

This shader require shader model 5.0, but automatically fallback to standard shader on unsupported hardware.

Features

Distance based tesselation

Only models inside the falloff will get tesselation, the rest will fade out to basic polycount

Workflow

This shader uses a unified material editor to integrate the tesselation seamlessly

Automatic Fallback

Automatically fallback to the standard shader on unsupported hardware

Setup

Supports metallic, specular and roughness setup of the standard shader
